# A CRM for Claude

Sashimi is a Claude CRM: a sales CRM you add to Claude as a custom connector. You sign in, approve one workspace, and Claude can then create leads, move deals, plan tasks and start email sequences when you ask in plain words. It works in Claude on the web and desktop, and in the mobile apps once added.

## Can Claude work as my CRM?

Yes. Sashimi gives Claude up to 140 tools over a custom connector, depending on your role: leads, companies, deals, tasks, activities and email sequences. You ask in plain words, Claude picks the tools, and Sashimi stores the result and enforces your workspace's rules.

There is no separate app to learn. The CRM lives in the same chat where you already think through your sales. Claude does the reasoning on your own Claude plan, so there are no AI credits to buy from Sashimi.

The only credits involved are Apollo data credits, and only if you use prospect import or enrichment. Those run on your own Apollo key, and Claude can ask Sashimi for an estimate before spending any.

## Which Claude apps does it work in?

Claude on the web and on desktop, and the Claude mobile apps once the connector is added on claude.ai. Claude Code can connect to the same URL from the terminal.

- **Web and desktop.** Use the one-click “Add to Claude” link in the [setup guide](https://sashimicrm.com/connect), or go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Sashimi and paste `https://dashboard.sashimicrm.com/api/mcp`. Click Connect, sign in, pick your workspace and approve.
- **Mobile.** Once the connector is on your claude.ai account, the mobile apps can use it too.
- **Claude Code.** Run `claude mcp add --transport http sashimi https://dashboard.sashimicrm.com/api/mcp`, start `claude`, run `/mcp` and sign in.

## Which Claude plans can add it?

Any Claude plan that allows custom connectors. Per [Anthropic's help article on custom connectors](https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11175166-get-started-with-custom-connectors-using-remote-mcp), as of October 2026 that is Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise, and the Free plan is limited to one custom connector.

Each person connects with their own Sashimi sign-in, so the CRM always knows who made a change.

## What can I ask Claude to do in my CRM?

The work itself, in your own words. Claude turns each request into one or more Sashimi tool calls. Some prompts to start with:

- “Add these twelve people from yesterday's event as leads, with their companies.”
- “Move the Globex deal to Negotiation and remind me on Friday to send the contract.”
- “Show my open deals in Negotiation and make a follow-up task for each one for Monday.”
- “Write a three-step email sequence for CFOs. Don't start it yet; show me who it would go to.”
- “Find heads of sales at fintech companies and tell me what importing them would cost.”
- “How did this quarter go? Pipeline by stage and deals won and lost.”

Bulk work happens in one call. Adding twelve leads is one `create_leads` call that also checks for duplicates, not twelve separate writes.

## How does Claude keep my businesses apart?

With one workspace per business and one connector per workspace. A connection only sees the workspace it was approved for, so Claude cannot write a lead for one business into another.

On Pro and Max you can add one Sashimi connector per business; on Team and Enterprise, an owner adds them for you. The Free plan allows one custom connector, so one workspace. The page on [running several businesses](https://sashimicrm.com/use-cases/multiple-businesses) from one AI has more.

Claude also works with your role, not more. The role is checked live on every call, so a member's Claude cannot delete records or manage members, because those need an admin. A personal link can be made read-only; sign-in connections follow your role.

## Can Claude send my sequence emails?

Claude can schedule them, but only when you enroll someone. Creating a sequence sends nothing. Emails are scheduled when Claude enrolls a lead with `launch_sequence`, and you can stop a run at any time.

Sending goes through your own Gmail, which is beta while Google reviews Sashimi's access. During the beta it works only for approved test users. Sequences can also hold manual steps, which become tasks for you instead of emails.

## What does it cost?

Sashimi is in private beta, invitation only, and free during the beta. At launch it starts at $15 a month per account on the Solo plan, with 3 workspaces. Nothing can be bought today. Every one of the [plans at launch](https://sashimicrm.com/pricing) is listed with what it includes.
