Best AI CRM: how to compare the CRMs you can run from Claude
There is no single best AI CRM. The right one depends on where you work, how many businesses you run, whether you pay per seat or per account, who pays for the AI, and what the CRM's MCP lets your AI do. As of 2026-10-18, most major CRMs connect to Claude or ChatGPT in some way.

What is the best AI CRM?
The one that fits how you work. We do not rank CRMs here, and we have not run each vendor's MCP server ourselves. This page compares what each vendor documents, as of 2026-10-18, and gives you criteria to judge them on your own.
The takeaway is simple: as of 2026-10-18, most major CRMs have an MCP server or a Claude or ChatGPT connector. "Works with Claude" no longer separates one CRM from another. What separates them is how the AI is paid, how you are billed, and how much the AI can do safely.
Which CRMs can you run from Claude?
Most of the well-known ones, in some form. The table above lists seven, with what each vendor documented as of 2026-10-18. A few details the table cannot hold:
- HubSpot. The Claude connector came first, in July 2025, per BusinessWire. The ChatGPT connector gained write actions in 2026, per the HubSpot knowledge base. Our HubSpot MCP guide covers the setup.
- Salesforce. Salesforce in Claude was announced on 26 August 2026, with sales skills in Claude Cowork, first for pilot customers, per VentureBeat. Its buyer is the enterprise.
- Pipedrive. Its native MCP server dates from 30 June 2026, per the Pipedrive newsroom.
- Attio. It offers a hosted MCP server and apps for Claude and ChatGPT, and its pricing page lists the plans.
- folk. MCP is included on all plans, per its pricing page.
- Zoho CRM. Built-in MCP is in a phased rollout, per the Zoho community announcement.
Where a cell says "Not checked", we did not find a vendor source we trust enough to print.
How do you compare AI CRM software?
With five questions about fit. Each one rules options in or out faster than a feature list does.
- Where do you work? If your day happens in a CRM app, pick a CRM with a good app and a connector. If it happens in Claude or ChatGPT, the AI client is your interface, and the app matters less.
- How many businesses do you run? If you run several, check whether the CRM needs a separate account or a paid add-on for each one, and how it keeps them apart.
- Per seat or per account? Most CRMs in the table charge per seat. A per-account price changes the math for one person running several businesses.
- Who pays for the AI? Many CRMs meter their own AI in credits or quotas. If your Claude or ChatGPT plan does the reasoning, you may not need the CRM's AI at all.
- What does the MCP let the AI do? Reading records is the easy part. Writing safely at volume is harder, which is the next question.
What does MCP depth mean for a CRM?
How much your AI can do through the CRM's MCP without you checking every step. It is not a number, and we do not score vendors on it. It is a checklist you can apply to any CRM, using its own documentation or a short trial.
- Reads and writes. Can the AI create and update records, or only read them?
- Batch writes. Can one call change many records, or does each record need its own call and approval?
- Safe retries. If a call times out, can the AI retry without creating a duplicate?
- Same permissions as the app. Does the AI act with your role, and nothing more?
- Audit log. Can you see which tools the AI called and on which records?
- Documented clients. Which AI clients does the vendor document, and on which of their plans?
As of 2026-10-18, Pipedrive documents OAuth, permissions and an audit trail for its MCP server. For the other CRMs we have not checked these points, so read their documentation.
When does an app-first CRM fit, and when does a CRM built for the AI?
An app-first CRM with a connector fits teams whose daily work happens in the CRM's screens. The connector is a second way in. You keep the pipeline board, the reports and the integrations, and the AI helps around the edges.
A CRM built for the AI fits people who already spend the day in Claude or ChatGPT. The AI client is the main interface, so the tools are shaped for a model, such as batches and safe retries. The trade-off is that the app is thinner or optional, which some teams will miss.
If you are not sure, start from where your time goes. Read about headless CRMs and AI native CRMs for the longer version of this choice.
What about newer CRMs built only for AI clients?
A few smaller products are built around the AI client, as of 2026-10-18.
- Agent CRM by Cluster calls itself "the headless CRM for Claude & Codex" and is CLI-first, aimed at founders and developers, per its GitHub page.
- Harmonia describes itself as an MCP-native CRM with a UI, aimed at agencies and service businesses.
- Clarify offers unlimited seats and a free plan, per its pricing page.
Where does Sashimi fit?
Sashimi is a CRM built to be run from your AI, for people who run several small businesses. Each business gets its own workspace and its own connector, so your AI cannot write one business's leads into another. Your own Claude or ChatGPT plan does the reasoning.
On the checklist above, Sashimi's answers are in its own docs. Bulk tools take up to 100 rows per call. Write tools accept an idempotencyKey for safe retries. Roles are checked on every call, every AI call is logged, and personal links can be read-only. The Sashimi MCP server page has the full list.
It also has clear limits today. There is no app to learn: daily work happens in your AI client, and a web app remains for sign-in, settings, integration keys and connecting Gmail.
On-demand screens are beta. Built-in agents are switched off during the beta, and Gmail sending for sequences is beta. There is no calling or meeting capture. Access is a private beta, by invitation only.
You need a Claude plan with custom connectors, or ChatGPT with developer mode on the web; on Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector. The setup guide documents the sign-in path for Claude and ChatGPT, and how Sashimi connects explains it.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI CRM?
There is no single answer. The right fit depends on where you work, how many businesses you run, whether you pay per seat or per account, who pays for the AI, and what the CRM's MCP lets your AI do.
How do you compare AI CRM software?
Compare fit, not scores. Check which AI clients the CRM documents, how its AI features are billed, whether it charges per seat or per account, how it keeps separate businesses apart, and how deep its MCP support goes.
Which CRMs can you run from Claude?
As of 2026-10-18, HubSpot and Attio offer Claude connectors, Pipedrive and folk offer MCP on all plans, Zoho is rolling out built-in MCP, and Salesforce has announced Salesforce in Claude for pilot customers. Sashimi is a CRM built to be run from Claude or ChatGPT.
What does MCP depth mean for a CRM?
It means how much the AI can do safely through the CRM's MCP: read and write, write in batches, retry without duplicates, keep the same permissions as the app, leave an audit log, and work in the clients you use. It is a checklist you apply, not a score.
