One CRM for multiple businesses

A CRM for multiple businesses keeps each business in its own isolated workspace under one login. In Sashimi, every business gets a workspace with its own records, pipeline and members, and its own connector in Claude or ChatGPT. A connection only sees the workspace it is tied to, so your AI never mixes one business with another.

What is a CRM for multiple businesses?

A multi-company CRM is one account that holds several businesses without mixing them. Each business keeps its own leads, companies, deals, tasks, statuses and sequences, and you reach all of them with the same login. Sashimi calls each business a workspace.

Many CRMs assume one company per account. If you run, say, a rental business, a consultancy and a small software product, you either keep one account per business or squeeze all three into one pipeline and tell them apart with tags. Sashimi starts from the other side: separate workspaces are the default, and one person can belong to as many as they run.

Sashimi was built for this case: Jome Stays, one of the founder's businesses, runs on Sashimi today.

What is a multitenant CRM?

A multitenant CRM serves many separate workspaces, called tenants, from one system, and keeps each tenant's data apart. In Sashimi every record carries its workspace and every query is filtered by it, so one workspace cannot read or change another's data.

For you, multitenant means one login for all your businesses with a wall between them. The security page explains how the isolation works and how roles are checked on every call, including calls from your AI. Why the work happens in your AI at all is explained on the headless CRM page.

How do I keep several companies apart in one CRM?

Give each company its own workspace and its own connector in your AI. A Sashimi connection is tied to one workspace: the one you choose when you approve it, or the one a personal link was created in. It cannot see another workspace, and you cannot switch workspace from the chat.

With three businesses, you add three connectors to Claude or ChatGPT and give each one the name of its business. When you ask a question, you choose the connector, so you always know which business you are talking to. The connection guide walks through the sign-in: your AI app sends you to Sashimi, you choose a workspace and approve.

Each workspace also keeps its own:

  • lead statuses, deal stages, custom fields and activity types;
  • sequences and email templates;
  • members and their roles;
  • Apollo key, if that business uses Apollo for prospect data.

Can I manage multiple brands with one login?

Yes. One Sashimi account can belong to several workspaces, and permissions are granted per workspace. You can be the owner of one workspace and a member of another. Inviting someone to one workspace gives them no access to the others.

That matters when your businesses involve different people. A partner in one business, or a freelancer who sells for another, sees only the workspace they were invited to. Roles are owner, admin and member: admins configure the workspace and invite people, and any member works leads, deals, tasks and sequences.

How should each business set up its pipeline?

Each workspace starts from the same default catalogue of five lead statuses and five deal stages, from new to won or lost. You adapt it per business by asking your AI. An admin's AI can add, rename and reorder statuses and stages, and create custom fields, with tools such as create_status, create_deal_stage and create_custom_field.

These are suggestions, not templates that ship with Sashimi. Your AI sets them up when you ask:

  • A rental or property business. Deal stages Enquiry, Viewing, Offer, Signed, Lost. A select field for property type and a date field for the move-in date.
  • A consultancy. Deal stages Intro call, Scoping, Proposal sent, Won, Lost. A select field for engagement type and a number field for the day rate.
  • A software product. Lead statuses New, Trial, Demo booked, Customer, Not a fit. A select field for the plan and a yes/no field for whether they asked for a demo.

Custom fields can be text, number, date, select or yes/no, and every one can be filtered. A status can have one level of sub-statuses, for example Lost split into Price, Timing and Competitor.

How much does a CRM for multiple businesses cost?

Sashimi is in private beta, invitation only, and free during the beta, with 60 days' notice before charging. At launch, the Solo plan is planned at $15 a month with 3 workspaces included. For comparison, Close charges $50 a month per extra organization (checked 2026-10-18).

Nothing can be bought today. The pricing page lists every plan at launch. Your AI runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan, so there are no AI credits to buy from Sashimi.

What do I need to start?

A Claude plan with custom connectors, or ChatGPT with developer mode on the web, plus a beta invitation. Then you add one connector per business; on Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it. More on how the connector works.
